Please do not delete this article based on copyright infringement. The article has been based on information from the Dictionary of Welsh Biography and it has been cited. @Jason.nlw: Hello, and thanks for the note. Unfortunately, even cited, we can't accept directly-copied, or closely paraphrased info from copyrighted sources. Wikipedia is basically "given away" for anyone to use, so we have to make sure that we have the right to do so with all content, and we do not have that right with copyrighted stuff. It won't be deleted right away, but please re-word the copied parts where possible to not be as close to the source. You can see the directly copied material at this link:[1]
I know a lot of the duplicated material can't really be worded any other way... "the Bruces and Knights of Glamorgan and Devon" is what it is, and rewording that would only venture into absurdity, but please have a go at a rewrite such that someone who reads this page and the source page would get the same facts, but not be able to tell that one was used by the other. @Crow: Thanks for the advice and the link. I have made some changes, which has reduced the similarities. Most of what remains can't really be worded differently, as you say.I hope that it will improve further as other editors add more information from different sources. I am currently working with the National Library of Wales and the Welsh Biography to try and get all living contributors to agree to release rights to the text, which would make it easier to get more of this excellent information on to Wikipedia, but for now, i know we must all respect the copyright restrictions. Jason, large parts still appear almost word for word from Dr Bertie George Charles's original. Compare, for example,:

"son of John George Phillimore (d. 1865 ) of Shiplake House , near Henley-on-Thames , queen's councillor , an authority on canon law , like other members of his family, and Member of Parliament for Leominster ( 1852-7 ), and his wife, Rosalind Margaret , daughter of lord justice Knight-Bruce ." and
"He was the son of John George Phillimore (d. 1865 ) of Shiplake House near Henley-on-Thames. John George Phillimore was of the gentry class, a queen's Councillor , an expert on canon law, and a Member of Parliament for Leominster. His mother was Rosalind Margaret , a daughter of lord justice Knight-Bruce."

or

"through his father's family Phillimore was related to the ancient families of Salusbury and Bagot of Bachymbyd in Denbighshire, whilst through his mother's family he could claim descent from the Bruces and Knights of Glamorgan and Devon" and
"On his father's side he claimed connection with the Salusburys and Bagots of Bachymbyd , while on his mother's side he was related to the Bruces and Knights of Glamorgan and Devon."

If you're citing Y Faner, 1 Jan. 1941, etc. as sources, you'll also need to confirm that you've personally read them, as opposed to having cut and pasted the copyrighted list from Dr Charles's original text. Hchc2009 (talk) 15:35, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Jason.nlw, the advice of Crow and Hchc2009 is exactly right here. I've now removed the copied content and rewritten some of it (please see below). I've also changed the heading of the sources consulted by ~~the~~ Bertie to "Further reading"; if you've consulted them yourself please feel free to cite them as references.
