Profile section[edit]

Hi, I'd like to update the profile section by adding a brief mention to the dissolved joint venture between ERG and LUKOIL (source: http://www.themeditelegraph.com/en/markets/oil-and-energy/2015/06/27/lukerg-renew-dissolved-Z7fxcAnYmq5WqxpCvNwnHI/index.html). I would edit the text currently within the entry (see below):

"ERG Renew is present with 252 MW in France, 168 MW in Germany and, through a joint venture, with LUKERG Renew in Romania (77 MW ERG share) and in Bulgaria (27 MW ERG share). "

as follows (I have highlighted in bold what has changed):

"ERG Renew is present with 252 MW in France, 168 MW in Germany and through a joint venture, with LUKERG Renew in Romania (70 MW) 77 MW ERG share and in Bulgaria (54 MW) 27 MW ERG share (subsequent to the termination of the LUKERG Renew joint venture)[1] "

History section[edit]

Hi all, I noticed that there is lot of content within the Italian version that we can use to improve this article, so I thought the following two templates could be useful: “Expand Italian” & “Expand section”, which I've gone ahead and added. I've also updated the history section with main company-related events from 2011 to 2018. Find below the draft of the content I would like to integrate right after the last line of the current version of the history section: “In 2010 ERG Petroli and TotalErg Italia merge in TotalErg, starting operation on October 1, 2010”. What do you think?

HISTORY

In early 2011 ERG reduced its share in ISAB from 51% to 40%.[2] Two years later ERG completed the exit from the refining sector.[3][4]

In the meantime (since 2010) ERG grew in the Italian wind power sector becoming in 2013 the leading wind operator in Italy.[5][6]

Since 2007 ERG started to operate also abroad, in the French[7] and German[8]wind markets, acquiring wind farms also in Bulgaria, Romania, Polonia and United Kingdom.[5]

In 2015 ERG entered the hydroelectric sector, via acquisition of E.On’s Italian assets, with 527 MW of capacity.[9][10] The power plants are located in the Italian regions of Umbria, Marche and Lazio.

In January 2018, ERG completed the closing with the api Group regarding the sale of its 51% shareholding in TotalErg S.p.A, completing its industrial transformation process towards renewables. [5]

In the same year, ERG entered the solar power business[11] through the acquisition of 89 MW (30 photovoltaic plants) in Italy.

Hi all, since it's been a while since my last entry and I haven't received any feedback on the content proposal I submitted, I went ahead and integrated the text from my previous entry into the article. I hope it is all right. --Elenina barberis (talk) 14:12, 21 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 30 April 2024[edit]

Edoardo Raffinerie GarroneErg (company) – Name by which the company is legally and commonly known.[1][2][3][4]

  • Comment: The logo and some cited sources use "ERG" rather then "Erg", and "ERG" seems like a more natural abbreviation of the spelled-out name. The long name also provides WP:NATURAL disambiguation. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:49, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The logo is a stylization of the name, it has nothing to do with the real company name. Even in the Italian Stock Exchange list it is reported as Erg. 2A01:E11:1A:990:7888:2828:2CDF:5732 (talk) 07:53, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
