the first sentence says Curll has become synonymous with unsrupolous book publishing. Well i've never heard of him. If it is(or was, maybe his name was "synonymous" 2 hundred years ago), it should be stated in what countries, or maybe that it is true in the limited circles of book publishers or collectors.
That first sentence says Alexander pope's attacks caused the synonymity, to maybe coin a word. if Could we have a quote from pope in the 1st paragraph?
It looks like most of this is straight from one book. Is Curll really notable? Probably yes, but i do suspect authors/publishers of getting publicity with wikipedia articles using the book as a reference.76.21.1.78 (talk) 02:34, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
