Notability[edit]

I have tagged this article.

I have several problems with this article. The subject does not seem notable to me - she has not achieved anything particularly notable (music teacher, been on a couple of boards, etc - lots of people do that) and her notability cannot be derived from her husband's career.

Also, another major problem is with the citations - four are from a "statement of Edith Killgore Kirkpatrick". This is not an acceptable source for Wikipedia. 81.156.175.222 (talk) 17:08, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On further looking, some of the other sources are not acceptable: http://www.mindenmemories.net/, net detective poeple search etc.
This whole article reads like a vanity puff piece rather than a serious encyclopedia article. It also uses unencyclopedic language ("battling cancer" for example). I am tempted to put it up for deletion. 81.156.175.222 (talk) 17:13, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
