The three-plus years of Eddie Johnson's superintendency were undoubtedly a plus for the City of Chicago, but laden with tumultuousness. He continued to serve until his dismissal on 2 December 2019. Though heavy-burdened with the aftermath of the Laquan McDonald Shooting and quickly followed the upheaval by the LeGrier/Jones shooting, he served with the Chicago Police Department and the City of Chicago. For individuals who edited without Wikipedia:Username policy or Wikipedia:User pages it is recommended to rename the subtitle, "Dismissal". As outlined in WP:COMMONNAME; firings are more commonly referred to as a "dismissal" than "termination." Also, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view#Naming, and in Wikipedia:Article titles#Neutrality in article titles, the titles of articles should conform to the Wikipedia Neutral Point Of View policy. For example, there's an article titled Dismissal of James Comey rather than "Termination of James Comey." "Dismissal" is a more neutral and less inflammatory word, and is, therefore, more appropriate here. The term "termination" is emotionally loaded, evoking images of Killing of Osama bin Laden or annihilation that is deliberately planned in advance, for reasons of personal gain. Also, "dismissal" would be more in line with the names of some related or analogous articles, such as Dismissal of James Comey, Dismissal of Robert Rialmo, and Dismissal of U.S. attorneys controversy hearings. It is, however, perfectly written, "Mayor Lightfoot terminated Johnson's superintendent contract" which is a piece of paper, not an individual you refer to.
