Ed TullettLowswimmer – Ed releases music under his solo moniker Lowswimmer (new website https://lowswimmer.com/) as mentioned on https://edtullett.com/. It would probably be best to rename the Page to Lowswimmer and then have Ed Tullett redirect to the new page (Requested move as per Help:How_to_move_a_page for non-autoconfirmed users) Comcloudway (talk) 08:11, 14 February 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Additionally, Ed now uses the https://www.instagram.com/lowswimmer/ Instagram account and handle. (The old edtullett account even says: "unused account, follow @lowswimmer @edtullettphoto" [1]). And Lowswimmer for social overall, for example Spotify [2].

As stated above, Ed releases music under his solo moniker Lowswimmer[3]. This means that if people want to know more about the person who published the song/album they are listening to, they would search for Lowswimmer - because this is what is listed as the Artist (i.e. on MusicBrainz [4]). (Recognizability [5])

The way I understand solo monikers, this is similar to how Novo Amors Page isn't called Ali Lacey, and instead is named after his stage name. (Consistency[6])

  • Oppose. Really for the same reasons that I contested this in the first place, I don't think the individual is always or consistently referred to as Lowswimmer, in the sources in this article or his own webpage/Insta etc., and it's preferable to just use his name. The link to his personal web pages above identifies Lowswimmer as the vehicle under which he releases solo music, but also reminds us that he's in bands such as "Hailaker", "Lissom", Tolari" etc. under his personal name. Overall, I think the status quo is fine.  — Amakuru (talk) 12:29, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, OK. But I think we should at least keep the Lowswimmer -> Ed Tullett redirect. Comcloudway (talk) 20:15, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
