Ok, reasons for attention part one: -

  • too many disambigs are ad hoc collections and mixups of everything
  • assumptions as to the importance seem to over-ride the alphabet
  • wiki implicit bias shows up strongly on disambig pages.

So the reversion was not very sensible. IMHO  :) User:SatuSuro 14:06, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not only that, checking each one - east coast singapore, east coast africa and east coast usa are quite different locations, and technically according to disambig style guidelines it should be laid out:-

Africa-

  • east coast etc

New Zealand

  • east coast this

USA

  • east coast that

So if you look at most disambigs, they are not like that despite the guidelines!User:SatuSuro 23:06, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've made this article (and the west Coast one) more like other disambiguoation pages with lots of geographical and other articles: I've put geography first, arranged alphabetically by country, followed by other sections. "East Coast" doesn't automatically mean the United States east coast worldwide, so it makes no sense to have that one first. Grutness...wha? 08:18, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In the English Wikipedia, yes it does. Reread PRIMARYTOPIC and the DAB policies. — LlywelynII 05:38, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
