The result of the proposal was move the page to Earl Wilson (pitcher), per the discussion below. There does not seem to be a primary topic for "Earl Wilson". Links can be fixed separately. Dekimasu よ! 06:40, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Robert Earl Wilson → Earl Wilson — reverting recent move to Robert Earl Wilson - (a)WP:NAME says not to use middle name for dab purposes if not usually used, and this must apply to first names; and (b) many links and template link to this form of his name — PamD (talk) 00:10, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Links needing tidying[edit]

OK, so the debate went against my proposal (though I'm not sure the closer noticed this: I was proposing "Earl Wilson" again for this person). Who's going to tidy up all the links which point to the dab page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Whatlinkshere/Earl_Wilson , most of which appear to be links intending to reach the baseball player?
