Call me a cynic, but the slogan "dare to be different" in a magazine 90% of which is devoted to selling them exactly the same fashions and tat that the other girls are wearing seems ironic... - Just zis  Guy, you know? [T]/[C] (W) AfD? 19:36, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ah ha ha ha ha, you dare to bring logic the slogans of teen magazines?! You're exactly right, but c'est la vie... Budgiekiller 21:45, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If any of you have ever read the magazine, it was different than other teen magazines. The clothes were a lot more unusual rather than the usual stuff you buy at the mall. The music was interesting, not pop, much more my style. There were all sorts of great articles, on everything from sex advice to candy. I miss it.Alanna Edwards

Elle Girl was awesome. It was much better than the other teen magazines in that the music it featured wasn't all mainstream, there were a large variety of article subjects about political stuff even not just boys and if you looked at the clothes, there were individual vintage, handi-down, designer and high-street pieces blended together really well. The idea of Ellegirl being gone, to me anyway, is a very depressing thought. I'm going to miss it, and I agree, it was different from other magazines. That was what made it so special. 216.24.8.16 04:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
