Expansion[edit]

I have made a start on expanding this article, but it needs more work on what dwifungsi actually meant on the ground. The semi-official reference I have used (Nugroho Notosusanto) is frustratingly short on such detail. There is a penciled-in comment at the front of my copy of this 30-page that reads "what we need is the explanation of the nature of the dual function of the Indonesian Armed forces". NPOV[edit]

President SBY has openly stated "There is no more dwifungsi and the military is to be fully removed from politics." The article seems to imply he believes the opposite, which is at best clumsy and at worst downright malicious. Do a little research, this statement from SBY is on public record.
