Split[edit]

This article was split from Duquesne Brewing Company (1899-1972). The two companies share no common bonds except for the common name and trademark.--GrapedApe (talk) 02:52, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

World Beer Championship[edit]

The page currently claims that Duquesne Pilsner won a medal at the "World Beer Championship" in 2011. Based on the results reported on the WBC's web site, that claim is inaccurate. I would suggest just removing the awards section of this page — at least until some other award can be verified. That.Mike.Beattie (talk) 16:43, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agree 100%. The burden is on whoever adds material to provide substantiation.--GrapedApe (talk) 22:57, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DUKE ALE , 1963[edit]

I got married in 1963 and my Godfather had a small store and sold Beers in Ohio. I bought Duke Ale by the case in 6 1/2 Oz bottles and would have one each day after work and my body functions worked perfect. And than my Godfather said they stopped making it. And I stopped drinking beer. I'm 78 now and will be buying Duquesne beer again and hope my body remembers the old days. J. R.
