According to Irish Times, the nickname should be spelled "Ducksie". "Duxie" is definitely incorrect. See http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/gaelic-games/handball-legend-michael-ducksie-walsh-dies-aged-50-1.2745128
Another variant spelling is "Ducksy", but I haven't found anything to support it. The way to settle it for certain would be a sample autograph, but a Google Image search hasn't turned up anything. — Quicksilver (Hydrargyrum)^{T @} 22:28, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
