Since the 14th century the duchy was outside of Poland, so why does it got a Polish title here instead of the German Ratibor? It's even the latest name und this is how the Dukes call themself. --Jonny84 (talk) 03:01, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Because the duchy was still under the Polish Silesian Piasts rule even though it was outside of the Kingdom of Poland, later it passed over to the Czech Přemyslids of Bohemia and subsequently dissolved. --E-960 (talk) 18:50, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Weil viele (ober-)schlesische Untertanen kein Deutsch konnten, wurde nach der Annexion durch das Königreich Preußen die neue Steuerverordnung Friedrichs II. umgehend ins Polnische übersetzt. Interessant sind die Ortsnamen.

This is a Polish translation made by a (private) printing office from Breslau. Nothing official. So what does it validate? The original was in German. I know the original books.. This is one of the examples of faking history.. --Jonny84 (talk) 19:23, 1 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
