End date[edit]

on March 28, 1795, it was annexed by the Russian Empire in the third Partition of Poland - but the commonly accepted data for the Third Partition of Poland is 24 October, not 28 March...--_{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk} 00:58, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why was it "Courland and Semigallia" and not "Semigallia and Courland" when the capital was in Semigallia? --Yomal Sidoroff-Biarmskii 07:09, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
