Q: Why is the total units sold listed as 9.13 million instead of 10.6 million?
A: The 10.6 million units sold was an estimate made on a forum by an unofficial source. The official figures from Sega in their financial reports total 9.13 million. This is also backed by industry white papers such as CESA. See this discussion.
