Improving the article[edit]

It's my intention to improve this article and have a look at the issues, displayed in the tags, as soon as I come back from the small break I'm having from Wikipedia. Obviously, I will need help with copyediting; I might ask for that help later. Before that, however, I want to fix the most serious issue in my opinion: The "factual accuracy is disputed." tag; I've asked user Tamingimpala what makes its accuracy disputed, so that I can fix it ASAP, and I'm waiting for an answer. I will trim the lead once I get back from my break. As far as section headers are concerned, I'd like advice here - how do I make the article more navigable (e.g., is it better to have the battles under each campaign they were fought [as it is now], or should battles and campaigns be divided into their own section headers?) As a driveby comment, this article seems excessively detailed given its size and period of service. It could do with some trimming. Zawed (talk) 08:27, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
if you have too many headers you eventually run into problems. I have been swooping in and out out of the article on copy-edit forays because nobody else seemed to be working on it. However, it’s pretty far from my usual topic areas and therefore slow going to decipher it, so I encourage anyone interested to work on it. One small comment is that this sort of article typically has a lot of flowery language brought in from sources, which impedes readability and probably should be the first place to look for cuts. But hey, if you guys want to work on it, I am not going to micromanage how Elinruby (talk)
