Year of birth[edit]

It is 1926. Birth registered Chorley Registration District, Jan-Mar 1926, vol 8e page 169 2A02:C7C:A683:8800:152F:9F0A:89A4:6E20 (talk) 11:19, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The fact is for some reason, throughout his career, his DoB was given as 1930. [e.g. Stenton & Lees; Times Guide to the HoC, etc.] We now know that was wrong, but still, I think it should be noted. RodCrosby (talk) 22:00, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
