Do the racism accusations warrant a section?[edit]

So, there are sources that support the claims of racism made against Nally by a student. The question is, how much weight do these claims have in an article about Nally's overall career? I don't see how they belong in the intro to the article at all. (Yes, each article stands on its own, but consider the current version of Paula Deen.)

That said, since the sources focus on the claims against Nally—and thus cover Nally indirectly rather than directly—how much mention do they warrant in the article? How much do we have to go into the history of the accuser to fairly present the claims in context; or, if we omit the background, are we not presenting the situation neutrally?

I'd like to get input from multiple editors so that we can reach a decision based on Wikipedia guidelines. —C.Fred (talk) 18:20, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:C.Fred, I got into this late based on a report filed at WP:ANEW. Without noticing that you had commented here, I removed the section header from the article (god, it was awful), and pared the material down. Frankly, I'm not convinced that we need any of it in the article, but I took what I felt was a conservative approach. My edit was reverted not too long after. I've raised the issue at WP:BLPN.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:54, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace Draft of Significant Changes Submitted for Scrutiny[edit]

Hi editors! I am Kevin Krasinski, and I am suggesting edits to this page (userspace draft linked) as a paid staff member of Donald Nally's organization The Crossing. My intention is to address the issues currently stated at the top of his page, namely adding more references and eliminating an abundance of information that causes the page to "Read like a resume". I have done my best to remain neutral in my editing, and therefore true to the spirit of Wikipedia, but I want to submit this draft to scrutiny to ensure that my WP:COI does not upset the integrity of Wikipedia as an objective information source. Thank you for your time and assistance. (P.S. Thank you to C.Fred for helping me approach this in the proper manner) KevinKrasinski (talk) 20:48, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I'm still hoping for some feedback and suggestion on this userspace draft. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!KevinKrasinski (talk) 18:55, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's been several years since anyone has done anything to this page, so I cleaned it up and used quite a bit of KevinKrasinski's work. Thanks for that. I removed the resume tag, but it would be great to get another editor to sign off on the citations flag. Watermaren (talk) 02:52, 21 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi all, I haven't heard from any other editors, so I'm going to remove the citations flag as well. Please let me know if anyone runs into any issues. Watermaren (talk) 18:41, 22 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 18 September 2023[edit]

In 2023, a first time released report by the Evanston Police from a student victim was given to the University President. The University Office of Civil Rights and Faculty Affairs are now investigating Donald Nally. The report is available and list "harassing" and "disorderly conduct" by Donald Nally towards that student in 2014. Student and university have both seen the report for the first time in 2023. Student has expressed how that event and others with Nally caused immense harm. Student was leaving Evanston after graduation when Nally stalked the student at a hair salon. This student is confirmed as the student who refused to sing the Walt Whitman poetry in 2013. The City of Evanston and Police Records publicly assisted in releasing these permanent public records on Donald Nally from that day.
