First comment[edit]

I notice that a references tag was added to the page, (2 minutes after I'd started writing), and despite a 'work in progress' label. I've added refernces and sources now, so if there's no objection I'll remove the tags.
There's also a notability tag; if it'd help I can add an external link section to Amazon, [1] with a list of the man's books, but I wouldn't have thought that was neccessary. Xyl 54 (talk) 18:55, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No response, so I've taken them out. Xyl 54 (talk) 12:55, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You might find this YouTube clip interesting as it's Macintyre talking about his Huff-Duff operator's U-boat locating skills. [2] - the rest of the programme is on there too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.68.219 (talk) 16:25, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, it was! In fact, the whole programme is interesting: Thanks for providing the links. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:49, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

U-boats destroyed[edit]

I've corrected the correction of the number of kills; there are six on the page, not five. I've also made it clear he sank U-99 as well, which seems to have been overlooked. Some sources give him credit for the sinking of U-100 as well, but that's less clear cut, though U-100 was definitely sunk by Vanoc. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:47, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
