Education[edit]

According to Lomax's Lambiek bio[1] and his entry in Who's Who of American Comic Books, 1928-1999,[2] Lomax attended Nassau Community College and Adelphi University, where he studied art and communications. But, Lomax himself has repeatedly edited his entry to delete those claims:

This is Don Lomax......I have repeatedly changed this section of my bio to report that I did not attend Nassau Community College or Adelphi University. I got my higher education in the rice paddies of Vietnam. I believe it is misleading to be accredited with an educational history that I did not earn. It is a slap in the face of those who did acquire such accreditation. It seems that no matter how many times I correct this part of my bio someone or some robotic program always changes it back. If this is the accuracy that WIKIPEDIA strives for it makes me wonder how accurate and trustworthy other information is listed on this site. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER WIKIPEDIA!!!

Out of respect for Lomax's wishes, I am removing the information about his higher education from his biography for now, until we can procure some other source. -- stoshmaster (talk) 04:44, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
