Don't Rush (song)Don't Rush – This is the only article by the title "Don't Rush" and therefore should be at the non-disambiguated location. The dab page at Don't Rush was created prior to Clarkson's song being released, but that information about the two songs with links to the albums could be be kept in a hatnote at the top of Clarkson's song's article. Don't RushDon't Rush (disambiguation) - Now that the disambiguation page has some more entries it needs it own article and would need to move to the (disambiguation) title to make room for the only article named Don't Rush. Aspects (talk) 03:38, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

  • Comment - given that there are 20 songs called "Don't Rush" Don't Rush (song) isn't helping readers much anyway. It really ought to be Don't Rush (Kelly Clarkson song). But then I don't agree with the "universe doesn't exist outside en.wikipedia" approach to article titling ;) ...since the current title isn't greatly helping anyone anyway, removing "song" won't make much difference. • Oppose per IIO's finding, but not his result, rename it to Don't Rush (Kelly Clarkson song), and redirect the current title to the disambiguation page as it is ambiguous. -- 70.24.250.26 (talk) 08:04, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, and support 70.24.250.26 proposal - rename it to Don't Rush (Kelly Clarkson song), and the redirect the current title Don't Rush (song) to the disambiguation page Don't Rush as it is ambiguous. In ictu oculi (talk) 04:23, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. If you google "Don't Rush" -wikipedia, 28 of the top 30 results refer to this subject. The other two are partial title matches. Reference works typically do not use disambiguators. They look ugly and unprofessional when they appear in large type on top of an article. We should be trying to use as few as possible, especially for articles that have a large readership. Kauffner (talk) 20:01, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Obvious primary topic; no other articles of this title.Cúchullain t/c 18:29, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. This song is too recent to be primary. You can rename "(song)" to "(Kelly Clarkson song)" if you want. We have major recentisms that affect old topics, like Kevin McHale, Too Close, and As Long As You Love Me. Let's wait for another five years. --George Ho (talk) 22:59, 10 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support There may be other songs of this name, but not with their own articles. A hatnote—This article is about the Kelly Clarkson song. For other uses, see Don't Rush (disambiguation)—will suffice. --BDD (talk) 17:48, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
