The Dodger Dog is a hot dog named after the Major League Baseball franchise that sells them (the Los Angeles Dodgers). This 5 inch ) [1] ballpark frankfurter wrapped in a steamed bun is consumed by the millions over the course of the baseball season. Image:DodgerDog.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Unappitizing?[edit]

Maybe I'm just a knitpicker, but the current image of the Dodger Dog (shown right) just...doesn't look all that appitizing to me. I mean, sure. A hot dog's a hot dog, for the most part. But if you saw that Dodger Dog as opposed to, say...the hot dog posted on the hot dog page... Well...which looks more appitizing to YOU?

Sales numbers[edit]

According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, the projected number of 2011 season hot dog sold at Dodger Season was 2 million — establishing Farmer John Dodger Dogs as the leader in hot dog sales of all those sold in Major League Baseball ballparks. Sold in Universal City, CA?[edit]

I haven't been to Universal CityWalk in a few months, but I'm almost positive they don't sell Dodger Dogs anymore. Their "Dining" page (http://www.citywalkhollywood.com/dining.html) doesn't show it either, but only "Pink's Famous Hot Dogs." Unless whoever wrote that meant outside of CityWalk...
