Moving the page[edit]

I Want to move the title to Doğançay, Mezitli (more wikified). In fact Doğançay, Mezitli is a redirect. But the system does doesn't allow.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 19:45, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Nedim Ardoğa: What do you mean by "more wikified"? Is there a second Doğançay in Mersin Province? If not, then there's no need to disambiguate to the district level. Huon (talk) 22:04, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
WP prefers hierarchical model. Doğançay is a part of Mezitli ilçe and Mezitli in turn is part of Mersin Province. It is best to relate the village to Mezitli rather than Mersin. Doğançay is unique in Mersin Province. But there are other villages with the same name in the very same province like Emirler. There are two Emirlers in Mersin Province. Thus Emirler, Mersin is meaningless and we have to relate them to Tarsus and Yenişehir respectively to disambiguate. Cheers.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 07:32, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
