The term 'direct trade' is used for goods beyond just coffee as well -- this article should include information on other uses of the term. 59.161.23.152 (talk) 18:39, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Direct trade[edit]

I was editing wikibooks Understanding Global Trade Policy and came across this article it is appalling the direction it has been fallowing. Direct trade is the most basic form of trade, it is simply defined as "the immediate and singular act of exchanging goods or services agreed to be of equal value between two parties"...

The marketing of the concept even if valid, does not equate to the same meaning. --79.168.6.93 (talk) 20:49, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
