First[edit]

"The first film which introduced the technique was Mini Moni the Movie by Higuchi Shinji in 2002."

This strikes me as dubious at best. Didn't Wing Commander III make extensive use of CGI backgrounds? For that matter I do believe much of Tron was shot on a stage with a blank background. Priest4hire (talk) 10:44, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WC3 is a computer game and not a film, but it did use CGI for the cut-scenes. Tron only contains some 15 minutes of CGI so it don't qualify on those grounds. I have added Rest in Peace from 2000 as it was done entirely with CGI and greenscreen. // Liftarn (talk)

Dogville would nearly fit the description perfectly if it were shot on green screen. The film is shot on a bare soundstage with no props. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreammaker182 (talkcontribs) 04:08, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
