not 1834...? Composed 1833 (finished November 14), revised 1835. Premiered (first version) 1834, but unless we are taking terms of art from opera (where a "1840 opera" is an opera premiered in 1840 even when the composer died 100 years earlier, e.g.) it's a good thing to distinguish "composed", "premiered", "first published".
