21st Century expansion[edit]

Following up on the Aug. 2015 tag for needed expansion of diaspora in the 21st century. Added a statement about current Syrian crisis. Khanzar (talk) 18:48, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Khanzar[reply]

Scottish Diaspora[edit]

Although linked to from elsewhere on Wikipedia, the Scottish Diaspora is not referenced on this page. Should there not be a mention below the paragraph on the Irish Diaspora, focusing maybe on the Highland Clearances ? Jaruzel (talk) 13:07, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship to and possible merging with Third_culture_kid[edit]

Third culture kid seems to be directly related to the concept of Diaspora. I'm wondering why this isn't mentioned at all in the article and if it might be worth it to merge the two of them. (Note I've made a similar comment on the talk page of the other aticle) Mimercha (talk) 16:30, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't TCK an individual thing, while diaspora refers to a group? Guettarda (talk) 17:11, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see how or why they'd be merged but you maybe can add each to the others See also section.--The Eloquent Peasant (talk) 14:00, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
