Request about Tinker[edit]

Please, please, do not change my edits to this page mentioning the death of Tinker. He was our dog and his death has been the most tragic event you could imagine. He was a true hero and a life saver. He at least deserves a place on Wikipedia Weirdgeordie (talk) 01:19, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Research and additional references[edit]

I would like to try and get a section on current research going as well as find additional references for information. I know a researcher named Dana Hardin is pretty famous for her work with dogs and diabetes: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s13300-015-0135-x#citeas I found another person, a PHD candidate who was doing a study: https://phys.org/news/2015-07-aims-diabetic-dogs.html and there is a news article with some information: https://www.healthline.com/diabetesmine/new-diabetes-alert-dogs-research

Information about medical treatment (or monitoring of disease) should be supported by reliable medical references, see WP:MEDRS.
