Proliferation of critic awards[edit]

There has been a general proliferation of critic awards during the last few years. The established awards such as National Board of Review of Motion Pictures are obviously notable. It is not clear whether any of the new critic awards should be considered notable. Rather than a piece-meal approach to deciding each of the notability of the newer awards, I believe it would be better to determine the criteria for award notability. This discussion may be more appropriate at WikiProject_Films. --Dan Dassow (talk) 22:31, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Awards Subpage[edit]

It seems to me that this page, which is ostensibly about the Detroit Film Critics Society, is actually mainly about the Detroit Film Critics Society Awards, going into great detail on which films won which awards each year. Wouldn't that content be more appropriate on a page specifically about the awards, with this page hosting content such as the history of the Society and its foundation/members? 170.232.227.242 (talk) 00:01, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
