So why is it actually named, Derby della Madonnina? --202.47.49.64 18:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe its to do with the Cathedral in Milan, a statue of the Virgin Mary on one of the spires. Its gold and glamorous, much like the derby. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.47.179.130 (talk) 22:08, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really need match-by-match summaries for all of the last few years? Every year up to that point gets a sentence at best. Tino 21:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not really. I'm gonna reorganize the article and take away the match info. Asendoh 11:12, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the end, I decided to keep this year's info, because they're still recent events. Earlier years' derbies infos are pointless. Asendoh 23:26, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, should we update to the latest derby, important due to the fact that Ronaldinho scored his first goal ever with the Milan shirt? I say "should" because there is no info on latest derbies you said you would keep.- TheSilverRaider (talkcontribs) 16:54, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Derby statistics need to be updated. Full list of matches is available on the Italian version of Wikipedia. Is there an wasy way to port into the English version? (204.111.245.78 (talk) 16:53, 20 November 2010 (UTC))[reply]

I had painstakingly entered all derby scores going back to 1995 but for some reason they were erased and only scores from 2000-01 are available. Any reason for the editing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.111.245.78 (talk) 03:11, 5 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I notice, a result has been incorrectly written as: "Milan-Inter 4-20" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cazzano (talkcontribs) 17:55, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please name your source?[edit]

Can you confirm this statement

The most notorious scoreline in the history of this fixture came in 3 March of 1918, when Milan thrashed Inter 8 goals to 1.

because as far as i know there wasnt any matches that year due to the World War. In the official sites of both Inter and AC Milan there is no such information neither.

Image:Dida flare.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Infobox[edit]

Is there a reason the infobox is headed "Milan vs Inter" but then has Inter's strip on the left and Milan's on the right? To anyone not already familiar with the Milan clubs' strips, it looks like it's Milan who wear blue and Inter who wear red. Binabik80 (talk) 03:03, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
