Needs updating/expansion[edit]
There's a surprisingly low amount of information here as this article hasn't been given serious attention in years. A little more background on the design and function of the lasers would be helpful, especially in comparison to drills. The implementation, availability, and cost has certainly changed since the publication of the 2 provided sources and needs updating. Frequency of use for various procedures and the overall outlook for dental lasers would also be appreciated. Tagging as outdated and photo request. RoadView (talk) 15:29, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
