Image on left[edit]

Note: Basic design principle: Image is on left because subject is facing right. Pepso 15:12, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

contemptuous?[edit]

Was Sinatra right when he said that what killed Dennis Day's career was his feelings of contempt for his audience? --174.94.42.104 (talk) 03:01, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

→That was actually Phil Hartman, parodying Frank Sinatra (talking to Sting playing Billy Idol), on Saturday Night Live, January 19th, 1991. - BookhouseBoy (talk) 00:06, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

True. But I've heard that in other places as well.....although I cannot think of a RS that says it. Maybe another editor can shed some light on this.Rja13ww33 (talk) 17:44, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

funny[edit]

The article says nothing about his comedic skill. His timing and deadpan delivery were close to perfect. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 13:46, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Change in licensing for File:Denday.jpg[edit]

As a result of some research, I found the copyrights for these images were not renewed. Full details can be found on the file. Because of this conversation, am changing the licenses of the images in the NBC Parade of Stars portfolio to public domain-copyright not renewed. We hope (talk) 19:45, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ezio Pinza & Dennis Day Show was part of RCA Victor Show from 1951 -- 1954: there is tons of confusion on this...[edit]

I have just posted an article about The RCA Victor Show, including the Ezio Pinza version and the Dennis Day version. See The RCA Victor Show. Eddie Blick (talk) 22:15, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
