A map dated 1857 Of Indian Territory in the 1840s shows Delaware as the principal town in the south central area. How to reconcile this with timeline in article? http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/historical/indian_territory-1857-atlas-rogers.jpg Mike Nassau (talk) 23:57, 15 November 2012 (UTC) Sorry, my mistake. the Delaware on the map from the 1840s is Delaware Mount, not Delaware town. http://blogoklahoma.us/place.asp?id=121 Mike Nassau (talk) 19:55, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
