Washington[edit]

Where is Washington in this? Seattle was covered in a foot of snow from Dec 13 to the 27th, marking the longest time ever being under snow. --76.121.4.143 (talk) 01:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it was a very large and important storm for Seattle. It was even a major contributing factor the the mayor's defeat in the primaries later in 2009. --76.28.179.73 (talk) 19:36, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added a section on Seattle, but it might need to be edited. I didn't include any information about how much the snowstorm affected people other than those who were traveling, but obviously everyone was affected, and it cost the city and businesses a lot of money.
