This happens a lot[edit]

It seems to me that this poor girl has an article because she was first fan to die from a hockey puck at an NHL game, but it seems to happen a lot:

It's tempting to do a write up on these incidents. Does anyone have more input on this? generic_hipster 05:55, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose the difference here is that the event led directly to a league-wide change, namely the installation of netting behind the goal line at every NHL arena. -- JeffBillman (talk) 16:54, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect/inaccurate information[edit]

This sentence in the legacy section "The netting has also been implemented by other hockey leagues and organizing bodies globally." should be removed or edited. Nets behind the goals were standard in Europe for at least several decades before this incident. 178.74.11.158 (talk) 20:48, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
