Neutral point of view[edit]

The plot summary part of this article is extremely subjective. An encyclopedia is supposded to describe matters objectively, not putting personal opinions in the so called facts. Anyone care to fix this? cun 20:52, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Violence[edit]

some of the stuff in the article was severly cut out on the TV version.74.195.3.199 09:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hip Hop Usage of the term[edit]

I believe the use of the term "Dead Presidents" to mean money began in Hip Hop due to this movie but really, that was a resurgence of older slang.

Little Walter has a song from the early 50s I believe called "Dead Presidents" on the Chess Label. BriarPatchWabbit 22:35, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

The article opens with the main character enlsiting in the USMC shortly after graduating high school in 68, then has him getting drafted in 1971. Did he enlist or was he drafted? Which is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.13.75.6 (talk) 04:13, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the plot[edit]

is too long for the overall length of the article. it could be divided into subsections, or pruned. FoCuSandLeArN (talk) 18:16, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For a 119 minute movie it appears, to me, to be not excissive. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 15:48, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:FILMPLOT. Regardless of number of minutes (which is as irrelevant as the color of a character's shirt with respect to the depth of plot), plots should be concise and within 400-700 words. JesseRafe (talk) 03:55, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
