I never met the Deacon personally, but if you had any interest at all in the Atlanta underground/indie scene in the late '80s-early '90s, you knew who he was. He remains an unforgettable, influential character to this day. --DeepSouthRick 19:43, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
