Removal of fractional-age section[edit]

I've removed the section on using the uniform-distribution-of-death assumption for fractional ages. Although the section was unsourced, this was not my reason for removing it (as sourcing would have been very easy to come by). The removal was based on the narrow technical scope of the section. The results themselves are simply special cases of S(x+t)/S(x), the special case being that t is less than 1. Few (if any) general readers would understand why this special case merits any particular attention, and the section contained no discussion of why some actuaries do pay attention to it. And even if that discussion were included, I think it would be far too technical to merit inclusion in a general encyclopedia. For those who might disagree, I note that a better approach would be to have an article on fractional-age assumptions. Such an article could go into detail as to why these assumptions are used by actuaries, and could also compare and contrast the different assumptions that are commonly used for that purpose (of which, of course, the linear assumption is just one of the three basic approaches).
