Date of the first performance and name of the general[edit]
Hi: Please see the "Programme publié pour cette représentation" (note 1, French article on this opera). According to that performance programme, the performance "will be held on February 28" and not on 25, and the date is confirmed by the quotation of a performance review (second hyperlink in the note 1) dated March.
Secondly, in the same Program, which reproduces the text of the opera, the character that you call Joabel was called Joadab (appearing from Act 2.
