Comment[edit]

It so happens that I am acquainted with David Pringle, that I have met at an international conference in Norwich in 2007, and think that this article is a fair assessment of his activity as a SF editor. He is a rather important figure in the field, thanks to the magazine Interzone that he edited for decades, a magazine which commissioned the fiction from important authors (e.g. J.G. Ballard, but that isn't the only name one could drop). In my opinion this article should not be removed but kept.--93.40.121.141 (talk) 07:18, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know if this article was up for some form of deletion, but I can assure you that editors with any knowledge of SF will not let this be deleted. he is cited fairly often as a reliable source on WP for his reference works.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 09:56, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

British-oriented[edit]

What are some of the similar works "more American-oriented" than Pringle's "100 Best" books? What are the consequences of that British- or American- orientation? For example, how many more books originating in the UK are in his 100 Best? --P64 (talk) 14:24, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography???[edit]

Hi! ;-)

Shall I search the Internet for full list of books of this man? And add them to this article? ;-) I have never done anything like it, but I might try...? ;-)

Best wishes!

PS. Bibliography should be shown alphabetically, or by year?

Fantasy?[edit]

Hi, it's me again. Should we also add "fantasy" to list of portals and what this person is known for?

[I know him as an author of Illustrated Fantasy Guide I have a Polish translation on my bookshelf.]

Best wishes!
