'Citation needed'[edit]

In the section regarding popular culture, there are a lot of instances where 'citation needed' is inserted right after it says that this or that song was used in this or that television series. Why would that need a citation. It is an empirical fact that can be verified by anyone by looking up the mentioned series. In fact, mentioning the series in which the song was used is, in itself, a reference. A secondary reference that restates the fact that a song was used in a series seems redundant. When one states that the contemporary American Dollar is green one doesn't ask for a source because it is empirically verifiable.

yes that section needs an overhaul, it can simly be presented as a list considering it is not that important really.Karst (talk) 18:36, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Life Is Strange[edit]

Can someone add Daughter's "Numbers" song to the "In popular culture" section which is used in the new Life Is Strange: Before the Storm? I can't do it because i'm IP blocked. Sebastian James (talk) 06:32, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I assume that one of Daughter's songs was also used at the end of the first gameplay trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7d75ntYy_M&t=19m16s). But that's not Numbers (I don't know their songs, but the voice seems to be the same). --Modgamers (talk) 20:00, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it was used. But the song hasn't been released yet. Sebastian James (talk) 12:41, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I added the new album, released today (september 1), with a link to the video game page and an article about the release. --89.3.210.30 (talk) 16:13, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Solo project of Elena Tonra[edit]

Elena announced her solo project (Upcoming album getting released at Friday, November 30), under the name Ex:Re.

There's also a single called "Romance" already released.

I think there should be a new page (or section about it in this article) with it's details.

The announcement article[1] CrystallineLeMonde (talk) 16:31, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done for now. Sebastian James (talk) 16:58, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Biographical info update[edit]

Declaring a conflict of interest so I can't edit myself - I work for Daughter's label 4AD.

The artist is no longer romantically involved with Igor, could a line please be added to clarify this? Citation here: https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/daughter-elena-tonra-interview-new-album-solo-exre-music-a8648726.html "they broke up just before the release of their 2013 album If You Leave"

Additionally, possible to remove mention of Elena Tonra's brother, as there is no citation suggesting this is important information that needs to be included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willtompsett (talkcontribs) 11:15, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Will, I've done these changes. --Jwslubbock (talk) 15:32, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
