"Dariusz now represents his country Poland on an international scale in Chess Tournaments hosted around the world." - "on international scale" is a literal translation of the Polish phrase "na skale miedzynarodowa" but this translation is not right. It should say "internationally" or "on international stage" but it is best to remove this phrase altogether as it is obvious that "Chess Tournaments hosted around the world" are international.89.69.82.3 (talk) 13:12, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"first major debut" - is a pleonasm.89.69.82.3 (talk) 13:14, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Dariusz's grandfather showed him how to play chess when he was three years old." - it is almost impossible to be a father at 3 y/o, let alone a grandfather. The sentence should read "When Dariusz was three years old, his grandfather showed him how to play chess".89.69.82.3 (talk) 13:17, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not the youngest World Junior Champion[edit]

"Świercz won the U20 section of the 2011 World Junior Chess Championship at the age of 17 (the youngest to do so)" - This is incorrect, Joel Lautier, born in 1973, won the WJCC in 1988 (as you can easily check here: World Junior Chess Championship), when he was 15. —Sophia91 (talk) 20:03, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
