Justification: don't speedy delete[edit]

Danish modern is a style of furniture, not a brand. No one particular company is represented, so it does not qualify for A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. The style was especially popular in the 1950s and 1960s, and is notable as a interior design movement during that time period. I'm working on bringing the article up to Wikipedia standard. kevyn (talk) 06:21, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also please note that a Google search for "Danish modern" yields 300,000+ results. kevyn (talk) 06:47, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why would anyone want to delete this? It could use some pictures and the name of other designers. DCDuring (talk) 23:54, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to merge with Danish design[edit]

It seems to me that the article deserves to be expanded in its own right as it is above all concerned with furniture from the 1950s and 1960s. Danish design has a much wider scope and covers a more extensive period, right up to the present day. - Ipigott (talk) 09:46, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And so you did. Very good work. --Thorseth (talk) 19:42, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I think I've just about finished adding what I intended. All we need now are illustrations for some of the designers. All contributions welcome. - Ipigott (talk) 11:32, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
