Various Ideologies[edit]

I'm a new user to Wikipedia, but looked at the various ideologies in infoboxes over the years. I've noticed that while "National conservatism" is in the infobox, other ideologies that are related to it (i.e. "Social conservatism" and "Anti-immigration) are along side it. I struggle to understand why they are a part of the "Ideology" parametre, but I understand why they are in the "Ideology" section. Shouldn't the "Ideology" parametre be for general ideologies, not in-detail ones such as the ones I've stated above? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 17:36, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The purpose of the infobox is to summarize the article, which in this case means to not bloat it with ideologies. In the case of DF, nationalism and right-wing populism seem to be its main ideologies, something which is backed up by a dozen of reliable sources. The rest of ideologies that are present right now could be moved to the "Policies" section. Vacant0 (talk) 20:31, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The ideologies in the infobox could be:
  • National conservatism
  • Right-wing populism

The usage of nationalism is more common than national-conservatism amongst scholars and news media (see here and here), so I'd rather go with nationalism. Vacant0 (talk) 12:04, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 13:03, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll apply the changes now then. If anyone is opposed, let's discuss. Vacant0 (talk) 17:12, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
