Wai Hong, any idea who is Carole Tan ? User: DJResident 12:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.50.251.66 (talk) [reply]

I deleted her name. Might be some wikipedia user trying to glorify herself.Wai Hong 00:24, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Jonathan Chan, I would greatly appreciate if you do not just delete items without offering any explanation as to your actions. And then you deleted a discussion item, indicating that you do not wish your action to be discussed ? User DJResident 218.111.48.63 (talk) 10:58, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too much junk[edit]

I think this article is looking more like an advertisement for small businesses in Damansara Jaya. Is anyone willing to take the challenge of cleaning it up? I might put the cleanup sign soon if it still looks this bad.Wai Hong (talk) 11:05, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. It is not the objective of wikipedia to promote small businesses such as White and Lacy. User: DJResident 58.26.54.142 (talk) 06:32, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wai Hong, I do not disagree with your action to remove advertisement-like material, but is it really your intention to entirely remove the restaurants section? Some descriptions, like that for Bon Bon does sound like advertisement material, but most of the others don't. Or perhaps the more detailed descriptions about Damansara Jaya restaurants should perhaps be more appropriately placed at other wiki locations, such as Wikitravel. Then a summarised version would suffice for this article. But IMHO the restaurants description should reside somewhere within the wiki system. In any case, the descriptions can be re-written so as to merely state the facts and avoid descriptions that would qualify as advertisement-like. Let's hear your thoughts about this. DJResident (talk) 11:15, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think descriptions or even naming the restaurants is like advertisement. I don't think the restaurants should be named unless they are more notable. For example, if the restaurants are very famous beyond Damansara Jaya.Wai Hong (talk) 01:18, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any idea who Rashid Khalil Mufti is? The website that's linked is now a dead link, and I can't seem to find any other information on him with a quick Google search.
