Dale Robertson portrait[edit]

Dale and I, have created a Portrait of him, throughout 2001-2, to raise money for Charity, the original Watercolour Portrait now hangs at the Ranch. — Roger P. Thomas (81.131.17.95 20:43, 28 December 2006 (UTC))[reply]

I guess that would be Dale's Ranch,[1] wherever that is. — QuicksilverT @ 15:58, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

His ranch consisted of six acres in Yukon, Oklahoma, near the Canadian River, just to the west of Oklahoma City. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:153:701:761A:E9B9:2FE4:16AF:FFC2 (talk) 02:57, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think the picture on Wiki is Dale. One of his stuntmen maybe. It doesn’t look like him and there’s no crease over his left eyebrow. B. A. Rhetoric (talk) 03:56, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wartime service[edit]

I heard that Dale Robertson was awarded the Silver Star in WWII, can anyone confirm this?

 Done. — Wyliepedia 07:09, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gay?[edit]

I see nothing in the citations (or anywhere else on the internet) that indicates Dale Robertson is gay. Why was that little item added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.5.131 (talk) 03:27, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Death[edit]

A User with this IP Address 96.251.83.103 contributed a Date of Death entry. I Reverted the entry to the previous status as there is not a single news source verifying dale Robertson's death. The entry looks to be either vandalism or mistaken identity. (Matt Mattox, a western actor, died three days ago.) 96.251.83.103 (talk) 18:09, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The story is being carried by multiple outlets on the 'net now. — QuicksilverT @ 15:37, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We're speaking with forked tongues. We have 2 sources for his death: The New York Times says he died "Wednesday" (= 27 Feb), but the Sacramento Bee says he died "Tuesday" (= 26 Feb). Now someone claiming to be his daughter has edited the article (badly) to make it say 26 Feb and there's a bit of a revert war going on. We need to sort this out quickly. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 21:25, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In Popular Culture[edit]

In 'Little Orphan Airplane' (S01E05) of The Six Million Dollar Man, one of the nuns mentions that she is a fan of Dale Robertson. James E. Pace 19:14, 27 October 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jepace (talkcontribs)
