Spelling[edit]

The final "h" in "Daqahliyah" is not necessary because the vowel is not aspirated. Should this be fixed? Badagnani 19:52, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

working with 2 different sources on the municipal divisions - matching , finding discrepancies[edit]

Everything mostly matches between the two sources. source #1 The Administrative Subdivisions of Countries by Gwillim Law is shown in Gwilliam Statoids webpage column. Al-Kurdy is new since the book was published. source #2 The citypopulation.de website.

Why did you redirect this article ? Why did you change its name?[edit]

@Brainist: Please discuss redirects before you make them. Again, since you don't explain any of your edits, like every editor is supposed to. You just use 2017: wikitext..... - Why the redirect of https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dakahlia_Governorate&action=history You should not have done this. You should fix this. The name of the article should be what it was before you redirected it. Do you understand why the name should have the word "governorate"? Because sometimes there is a city and a governorate with the same name, and to be consistent with the naming, and so it links to the governorate template, etc etc etc. You obviously see that I'm working on this article and this is a high importance article and yet you choose to redirect without discussing.
