Sourcing issues[edit]

I just added unreliable source tags for the following references:

The first is a blog, although the information being supported isn't really controversial. The second appears to be a self-published, blog-like website for Rivka Lissak. No references are provided by Lissak to support the information he writes. Also the Bellarmino Bagatti snippet doesn't mention anything about Daburiyya's Jewish name or history. These could be fixes if reliable sources could be found to replace them, which I will allow some time for. If nothing reliable could be found, the info will have to be removed. --Al Ameer son (talk) 05:48, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The ancient identification as Daberath can be cited to Sharon (CIAP3 D-F, p1) or Petersen. The later identification as Helenopolus is not supported by any of the references in the article except Lissak. In particular Stemberger's book does not even mention Daburiyya as far as I can see. This is not sufficient. It is true that there are sources identifying this place with Helenoupolis, but standard sources like Tsafrir prefer to identify Helenoupolis with Kafr Kama. Lissak's academic expertise is in American history and her blog represents her political activism. I don't see any way it satisfies the strict requirements for use of blogs. Zero^talk 07:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hütteroth and Abdulfattah -typo[edit]

There is a typo in Hütteroth and Abdulfattah, 1977, p. 189: they give Dabburiya (185/242). That grid-number is clearly wrong (It is where Tur'an is), and on the accompanying maps the village, denoted "z22", is placed in the correct place, more like grid (185/232).
