Joint champions?[edit]

Ken Whyld Chess: The Records (1986) has joint winners for a few years, but our table and the external link it is based on have only one.

  • 1921 – Hromadka, Prokes, Treybal
  • 1950 – Fichtl and Filip
  • 1984 – Hort and Jansa

Our article on Ladislav Prokeš also claims he was joint champion in 1921. The Oxford Companion to Chess says Filip shared the title in 1950 (but doesn't give the name of the co-champion) and also says Jansa was joint champion with Hort in 1984. Do we know what is correct?
