Merge?[edit]

See Talk:2010–2011 Queensland floods#Tasha merge? --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 18:29, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, two different topic that overlap. The Flooding has other causes and affect. Enlil Ninlil (talk) 22:24, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Death Toll[edit]

I think atm the two should be separate, as it's not just the cyclone that created the floods, but various factors. However, once this disaster passes and is not a current event, then we decide to merge or not. I think however the death toll and damage for the cyclone should be updated to inculded the people lost in the floods, like atm it looks like 39 people have died, I'd write it as the cyclone killed (1 directly and 39 people indirectly).--184.77.51.193 (talk) 17:09, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

End of drought?[edit]

I contest the statement These rains came on the heels of a ten year drought that plagued southern Queensland. Though that sentence is sourced with note number 11 (at this moment), it is obviously wrong, see 2009-10 Australian region cyclone season#Tropical low 08U respectively March 2010 Queensland floods. Also compare the lengthy discussion at Talk:2009–10 Australian region cyclone season#Season Summary. The sentence therefor should be removerd. --Matthiasb (talk) 17:15, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
